The 49-year-old actress abruptly stepped out from her position in the third installment of the Magic Mike franchise.
It comes amid claims that she is’struggling’ with her breakup with Parker.
Thandiwe and OI had three children together, and the couple was married for 24 years before deciding to call it quits.
According to The Sun, the actress went from London to the United States last week in the hopes of gaining her support.

It comes amid speculation that the Hollywood actress is in a “terrible place” as a result of her divorce.
Thandiwe, who is claimed to be “stressed,” is also said to have sacked her UK agent after three decades.
Thandiwe made the choice to leave the new Magic Mike production earlier this month.
Warner Bros. issued a statement at the time, stating that the actress “took the painful choice to walk away from the production to deal with personal problems.”
The duo hasn’t been seen together since their Ibiza holiday in 2020.
Thandiwe tied the knot with Ol, well known for directing the 2018 film Mamma Mia! In 1998, Here We Go Again.

Newton, who had been widely known as Thandie Newton for 30 years due to a typo of her first name in the credits of her debut film, stated in April 2021 that she was finally rectifying this and will henceforth be recognized and credited as Thandiwe Newton, beginning with Reminiscence (2021).
In 1998, Newton married English writer, director, and producer Ol Parker. They have three children: Ripley (b. 2000), Nico (b. 2004), and Booker Jombe (b. 2014). All three were delivered at home. She is a vegan who was crowned PETA’s “Sexiest Vegan of 2014” in the United Kingdom.
Newton wrote the preface to We Wish: Hopes and Dreams of Cornwall’s Children, a book of children’s writing produced in support of the NSPCC, in 2006. Newton led the One Billion Rising flash mob in London in 2013, calling for a stop to violence, as well as justice and gender equality.
