High School Musical Stars Together Again

                    

Here are the stars of Disney’s ‘High School Musical’ Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens as they are heading out of LAX. And in case anyone was wondering, the pair aren’t running off for some plastics work as has been the speculation of Ashley Tisdale as of late. No, in fact the two are reportedly heading to Utah to begin filming the next installment of the ‘High School Musical’ series. But Ashley still finds herself fending off rumors that she is getting plastics work done. Recently she went public about a nose job that was done to correct a deviated septum, and some bumps from a fractured nose during her teen years. After that, she disappeared and rumors were circulating that she was getting more work done, namely, a boob job. She was in fact, in New Zealand working on a movie. But Ashley laughs at the thought of a boob jobsaying, ‘look at me!’ and is snubbing her pretty new nose at any doctors that are commenting to the tabloids since her rhinoplasty. She says it’s irresponsible for any professional to comment on someone whom they have not examined. She’s got a good point. But you know, it is almost starting to sound like she doth protest a little too much, doncha think? Am I wrong?

Britney’s Legal Woes Continue

                                     

This time it has nothing to do with the kids or the ex, but, well, her driving. In a hearing last Thursday, prosecutors refused to drop charges that are against Britney Spears for driving without a license. But Britney’s lawyer begged and pleaded, saying that she is getting her act together, and has no bad driving record other than standard infraction type tickets. But the L.A. prosecutors seem to be on a mission to hang this girl for these charges given that her hit and run charges were dropped last August. They think by pursuing the current hit and run charges they are being as fair to her as they would anyone else, that her celeb status holds no water here. Her case will continue in June, but you have to know the prosecutor is just eating this up. Anytime the story is mentioned, as it will be with a Britney story, I am sure he’s not complaining that his name is in print just about everywhere. Her lawyer is hoping it will all pan out, as usual, time will tell.

Lynn Spears Visits Her Grandbabies

                  

Lynn Spears is in Los Angeles now to see if she can spend some time with her grand babies, Britney Spears children, Sean and Jayden. Lynn is traveling back and forth between L.A. and Kentwood, Louisiana to do what she can to take care of her daughters. Britney is holed up in L.A., and Jamie Lynn is holed up in Kentwood preparing for the birth of her first baby. All of this family support seems to be doing nothing but good for Britney as the family seems to feel things are on the upswing for her. Even so, the phrase ‘long way to go’ has been used which is hardly surprising. Britney is even being described as ‘more stable’. I guess that’s if you count out the pregnancy rumors or the secret wedding blitz. But the Spears clan seems to be hopeful for the first time in a LONG time which is GOOD for Britney. Somehow though she just still seems to make it into the news, even when things are quiet and low-key.

Just another hearing in the life of Britney Spears. Today it was to see if she could handle spending some money on her own. And it seems she can. The judge in question has graciously decided that Britney is allowed to get a spending limit of $1,500 a week via a debit or credit card that will be doled out weekly by dear ol’ Daddy Jamie. His lawyers say the decision was granted “so she can spend money, have her freedom, and make choices about how she wants to enjoy her life.” But the math isn’t adding up, because, that’s lunch money for most A-listers, Britney included, and that’s not many Beverly Hills lunches in a week, so what kind of decisions is she expected to make? Should we buy a carton? Or just buy one pack at a time? What to do, what to do?? And you know, I’ve always thought this whole Daddy as conservator thing was a little sketchy. How much is Jamie getting for this role? Almost TWICE what Britney is. Yep, he gets paid $2,500 K for handing out her money. (and we know where that paycheck is coming from) And she makes reportedly $700 K a MONTH. Now ya see what I mean about the math? Hmm. Yep, she pays him, to pay her, so she can buy a pack of smokes. Noone else finds this strange??
